Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) allows customer contact channels (voice, e-mail, Web, fax, etc.) and computer systems to communicate. With ECHO's Web Services modules, full CTI can be achieved using industry standard XML data transfer. Every ECHO function can be accessed via Web Services, allowing other applications to be configured to create and change users, start and stop recordings, access information for reporting, and more.
With the ECHO Architecture Service Module, the ECHO server can open a Web Service as a client, allowing it to initiate activities for other applications within the integration.
